I purchased this baking thermometer on amazon.con. It arrived in excellent condition and in a speedy manner. The thermometer takes a common battery #2032, also available on amazon. The thermometer reads in Centigrade or Fahrenheit and to the nearest 1/10th of a degree. So far, I have to say it is wonderful. A green light comes on, if the thermometer reads in the range of a finished loaf. I hope it lasts forever.
