Product Description
Cuisinart Chef’s Classic non-stick hard anodized 1-1/2-quart saucepan with cover. Cool grip riveted handles for ease of use, durable hard anodized exterior, Quantanium non-stick interior, tempered glass covers seal in flavor, hard anodized, oven-safe construction.Amazon.com Review
This small but versatile 1-1/2 quart saucepan is ideal for heating milk, melting butter, or making sauces. It’s also perfect for the single cook, allowing small amounts of food to be heated without the scorching that can happen in a larger pan. The thick, hard-anodized aluminum construction conducts heat evenly and efficiently through the sides as well as the base, a tempered glass lid seals in flavor while keeping the contents visible, and a specially designed rim allows for easy drip-free pouring.

Cuisinart Chef’s Classic hard-anodized cookware features an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating, designed for healthy low-fat cooking. The coating is tough enough for use with metal utensils. Even delicate foods like fish can be cooked without sticking, and cleanup is quick and easy. Every pan is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. This pan should be hand-washed with a mild detergent, and it carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects. –Simon Leake

I just received my order, and realized that I ordered a 1-1/2quart pan, instead of a 2quart. Yes, it was just one of those human errors that most of the customers have experienced once if not twice. Anyways,I was hoping that Amazon would happily exchange my unused pan; howevre, the answer was No. They don’t offer an exchange! I just don’t understand why…With my orginal order, I bought something else just so I will qualify for the free shipping, however, if I return the original item first and buy new one again,(which how I was recommended by Amazon) to qualify for the free shipping I’ll have to buy something else AGAIN! That sounds like a rip off to me.

First thing, it’s not real Hard-Anodized.

The 2nd thing is that the nonstick coating is so poor quality.

My wift used it to cook noodle some time for my baby, but last month some day, I found the nonstick coating is already melted!

    Stay away from Cuisinart.

I think the base pot is very good and made very well. However, the handle stinks. If I had a small hand it would be good, but with large hands the handle is to small and I do not feel I get a good grip on the pot when it is heavy.

I just got this pan today. It looked sturdy and well made. I used it one time for about 3 minutes. After I washed it with a sponge (nothing to scratch it) like normal I saw that the nonstick coating was already flaking off in several places. I’m surprised there were so many positive reviews. This is a terrible product do not waste your money! I would give no stars if I could.

I bought this saucepan and after 6 months a ring appeared inside the non-stick coat. As the company boasts in lifetime warranty,

    I tried to contact them…

1st try – on hold for 50 minutes – can’t leave a message as well – gave up.

2nd try – emailed customer service with a photo of the pan – no reply.

3rd try – got hold of them, was told I need to send it over to them and also add $7 for the return shipping!

I paid $22, so to pay $14 just to get a new one after this one was defective seems excessive.

I have a few other non nonstick Quisinart pans and they are great. Don’t buy the nonstick ones.
