    I saw this whisk being used on a television show (probably Food Network). I couldn’t find one in a store anywhere so I purchased one from Amazon. Wish I would have bought one years ago. It is a great little whisk and is ideal for whisking in a pot. The design gets into the corner of the pot where the side of the pot meets the bottom and also thoroughly scrapes the bottom of the pot as well. I would highly recommend everyone have one of these whisks for their kitchen.

    I have been cooking for about 45 years and have always used a spring whisk for sauces and puddings. The thing that always drove me crazy though, is that the handles were too short so if you wanted to leave the whisk in the pan for a minute or two and then come back to stir, most of the time it had tipped over and fallen in the sauce.

    When I saw my friend making coconut cream pie filling and using a spoon and paddle to keep the filling from scorching I couldn’t believe she never heard of a spring whisk. It makes the job so much easier. I decided to buy one for her, but decided I would look with one with a longer handle so she wouldn’t experience the same frustration I always have. When I found this whisk I knew it would be perfect, so I purchased two, one for each of us. I have used it a few time and it has great spring action, a comfortable to use handle AND when it tips over, it does not fall down in the sauce because of the longer handle. I will give her the other one for Christmas.

    Finally, a whip to make all other spring whisks pale in comparison. I love this whisk.

    I love this little thing! I find it best for salad dressings, but I’m also reaching for it a lot more than my other whisks now. For sauces on the stove in a shallow saucepan, it gets right down into the liquid very nicely. Definitely worth having.

    hunted all over town for a flexible whisk. all the new ones are very rigid. this one I use for getting smooth gravy….no lumps!
