The price is good, but you can only use it for water. Do not try any other liquids or you will mess up the unit. You pay for what you get.

I expected the kettle to have a glass insert, because of leeching which has been attributed to plastic. Unfortunately, the description has nothing about an insert.

Unless the water is not for drinking. It is efficient, but the water tastes strange and looks yellowish. The water might not be good for health though you can tell no difference if make tea and coffee.

The kittle looks good and I tried, it was not very fast but was accepted.

Horrible toxic stench of plastic from this thing almost knocks you over even after using it and rinsing it repeatedly. I took it back immediately. With what they know about plastic being heated and being absolute poison for you, this thing should be 100% illegal. I’m getting a stainless steel kettle. This thing is poisonous and bad for you loved ones.
Update: I bought a gorgeous stainless steel kettle by Durabrand that is a dream. Plastic toxic kettles approaching the year 2010 are unacceptable.
