- Asymmetrical serrations tend to cut crooked. The cut is not quite in the direction the blade points.

Bought these for my mom as she puts everything in the dishwasher and ruined the last good knife I bought her. The silicon coating keeps food from sticking and they can be washed in the dishwasher. A perfect fit.
